Banquet

Leaving the Page: Character Banquet

Dress as a character from your favourite book. Heroes, villains, or even aliens from any era are welcome. Join us for an evening of networking with other readers and writers.

Theme dress is welcome, but not required. Join us for a wonderful meal*. Mingle with authors and presenters. Attend the author signings after dinner.

* A pre-purchased banquet ticket is required to attend the meal.

The banquet will be held in the Bonavista Ballroom (Tower Building) from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.

Cash bar opens at 5 PM and runs until late.

The autograph session follows from 8 - 10 PM

(Please exit the ballroom from 7-8 PM to allow hotel staff to clean the room.)

Banquet Menu (Mexican Theme)

Salads:

• Black Bean & Corn Salad
• Mixed Greens w/ assorted dressing

Starch:

• Mexican Rice & Beans
• Charred Chipotle Corn on the Cob

Entrees:

• Ancho Chili Pork Loin
• Lime & Cilantro Scented Chicken

Build Your Own Fish Tacos

• Flour Tortillas
• White Fish
• Shredded Cabbage/Lettuce
• Diced Tomatoes
• Shredded Cheese
• Salsa Fresca
• Guacamole
• Jalapenos
• Fresh Cilantro
• Lime Wedges
• Crema

Dessert:

• Assorted pastries, including Churros

Fresh Baked Rolls and Creamery Butter, Starbucks Regular and Decaffeinated Coffee, and Tazo Tea included.
