  7. Canada's Sports Hall of Fame ( Be inspired by the accomplishments by the best in Canadian sports.
  8. Aerospace Museum of Calgary ( An exhibit of historic and restored aircraft.
  9. Big Rock Brewery ( Tours and tastings and Calgary best known craft beer brewery. (Okay, not strictly literary, but c'mon, writers and drink?)
  10. Devonian Gardens ( An indoor oasis in the middle of Calgary's downtown. Could this be what parks look like in domed cities?
  11. Reader Rock Garden ( A parkland gem directly north of the Union Cemetery--the final resting place of many historic figures.
  12. The Chinese Cultural Centre ( A culture hall, auditorium, museum and the largest Chinese library in Canada.
  13. Grain Academy Museum ( See a depiction of how the prairies were settled, a working grain elevator demo and model train moving grain from the prairie to the terminals at Vancouver. Other displays include everything from barbed wire types to wheat straw weaving, pioneer farm tools and various models of farm implements.
