Come here to find your favourite local and independent publishers, as well as local bookstores represented.

You can find the Merchant Room on the third floor of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary for the duration of the festival.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR THE MERCHANT ROOM. 

The Merchant Room welcomes applications from writing organizations, book sellers, community writing groups, small businesses with merchandise of interest to writers and agents.

THE AUTHOR ALLEY SUBMISSION FORM IS NOW CLOSED. If you are a presenter, you may still bring your books to sell. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you haven't signed up yet! 

AUTHOR ALLEY (formerly Shared Authors' Table)
Located inside The Merchant Room, Author's Alley is for you if you are an author looking to sell your books at WWC! 

First priority will go to:

Presenters at WWC 2026, whose books are not sold through Owl's Nest or Nocturne.

If you are attending the festival, not presenting, and have published books, you may still apply for consideration after presenter spots are filled.

Please note, due to space limitations, preference will be given to those selected as presenters whose books are not easily available through one of our booksellers or onsite publishers.
