Current adult membership rate is $55 CAD. Prices will increase on August 1, 2013. You can register online, use our registration form or, in Calgary, stop in at The Sentry Box at 1835 - 10th Avenue SW to purchase your membership.

Registration Types and Information

List of Convention Members.
Credit card companies now include a 3 digit Credit Card Validation number that must be supplied when doing transactions to prove that you have the actual, physical credit card in your possession. This 3 digit number can be found on the signature-side of the card and is the final 3 digits of the number on the signature strip. See the illustration for the location.
On American Express cards the CCV is four digits and on the front right side.
Most people will want an Attending Adult membership which allows you to attend all of the convention activities. If you were a student during 2013 and have proof in the form of a 2013 student ID you qualify for the Student rate.
If you are 65 or older as of August 9, 2013 and have proof in the form of government issued ID that includes your photo you qualify for the Seniors rate. Members purchasing the Seniors rate must present a valid government issued ID with photo when picking up their registration package at the convention.
A Supporting Membership allows you to receive convention publications only.
Registrations are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your membership to another person. Please contact us to make the transfer.
By registering for this festival you consent to allowing When Words Collide to use any photographs or other recordings taken at the festival for promotional purposes.

* Children must have adult supervision at all times or risk being removed from the convention.
Children under 8 need not register, but must be accompanied by a registered parent at all times.
Parents bringing children to the convention must provide the children`s proof of age when picking up their registration package at the convention. The child’s age as of August 9, 2013 is used to determine membership rate.
Members purchasing the Student rate must present a valid student card with photo ID valid in 2013 when picking up their registration package at the convention.

Memberships are non refundable, but you may transfer them.

You may register up to four people online at once.
If your name contains an accented character (such as é) you can show this by typing a tilde (~) immediately after the accented character. For example, the name Renée would be entered as Rene~e. It will appear correctly in the membership list and on your membership badge.
